BizHub
Smart shop dashboard for retail — analytics and POS built on Next.js, part of Ubikon's own vertical SaaS suite and live in production, operated by us.
Retail · Commerce
Ubikon builds retail and e-commerce software — shop dashboards, POS-adjacent tooling and commerce platforms — and operates its own evidence: BizHub, a smart shop dashboard for retail with analytics and POS built on Next.js, is live in production. The premise behind our retail work is that most retail software fails at the counter, not in the cloud — so offline resilience and an interface a shop owner reads daily come before anything else.

What's different here
Most retail software assumes a connection it will not always have. When the network drops mid-sale, the counter cannot stop — the sale has to complete locally and sync later without double-charging the card or losing the line item. That is a queueing and conflict-resolution problem you architect on day one; bolting it onto a cloud-first build afterwards is a rewrite.
The same unit listed at the counter, on a marketplace and on your own storefront will eventually sell twice unless one system is the source of truth and every channel reads from it. Reservation windows, oversell rules and reconciliation jobs are unglamorous engineering — and they are what keeps refund apologies from becoming your busiest workflow.
Accepting a payment is the easy half. Gateway webhooks fail silently, settlements land days later with fees already deducted, and refunds cross statement boundaries. If the ledger is not designed to reconcile what the gateway reports against what the bank actually pays out, finance ends up doing it in a spreadsheet — which is where most commerce back-offices quietly live.
Most retail dashboards die unread because they answer an analyst's questions, not an owner's: what sold today, what is about to run out, who owes me money. A view that loads fast on a phone and answers those three questions daily beats forty configurable charts nobody configures.
Straight answers
A shop dashboard typically falls in our Web Development band at $6,000-$35,000; a full commerce platform or multi-tenant product in the SaaS Development band at $15,000-$80,000; a customer-facing shopping app under Mobile App Development at $8,000-$45,000. You get a fixed line-item quote within 48 hours of a 30-minute scoping call, so the number is specific to your scope rather than a range you have to guess inside.
If Shopify or a comparable platform out of the box genuinely serves you, use it — we will say so on the scoping call. A custom build only earns its cost once your workflows outgrow templates: multi-channel inventory that must not oversell, fulfilment logic a theme cannot express, a counter POS that has to survive connectivity drops, or a catalog whose variants have outgrown the editor. Ubikon is the wrong choice for a standard storefront a template already solves.
BizHub — a smart shop dashboard for retail with POS and analytics, built on Next.js — is live and operated by Ubikon as part of our own vertical SaaS suite. In the same suite, ThokRok (distributor and wholesale orders), KitchenOS (live kitchen orders) and SalonSutra (salon and spa booking) are in build; we cite those as work in progress, not as shipped evidence.
3-10 weeks for a web dashboard, 6-16 weeks for a SaaS commerce platform, 4-12 weeks for a mobile shopping app — the published ranges for our Web, SaaS and Mobile services. Every engagement runs on weekly working builds: an openable build, a video walkthrough and a changelog each week, so you see the product working from week one rather than at handover.
